For some reason, whenever Hannah finishes a bowl of Rice Krispie's she like to put the rest in her hair. Maybe she will start a new trend! Krispie hair...

Easter Egg Hunt.
Hannah has been so sick this year that we have been house-bound quite a bit. Due to our cabin fever, we decided to brave the outdoors and go to the annual Easter Egg Hunt. In light of how sick she was, Hannah seemed to have a pretty good time. During the hunt for eggs, Hannah managed to find all five of her eggs and, much to my delight, managed to evade being plowed over by all of the bigger kids.
After finding all of her eggs, Grandpa Frank thought that it would be fun to teach her how to pick up handfuls of sawdust and through it. Admittedly, she thought it was fun too...
After the egg hunt was over, she posed for a photo op with her Uncle Matthew on the left and her cousin Joshua on the right. Awww... don't the three of them look so cute!
Then, we went on a walk around the farm where she got to pet a baby chick...
Color easter eggs...
Color pictures with Auntie Reda...
But, when it came time to say hi to the Easter Bunny, she refused. She screamed at the idea of even standing next to the Easter Bunny while I was holding her. She's was so happy when Grandpa Stevens finally offered her the safety of his embrace so that Mommy wouldn't be able to torture her and her vain attempts to get a picture... Turns out, this is the closest she would get to the Easter Bunny...
She did love the hula-hoops though...
and...
having Uncle Nick help her...
do pull-ups!
Talking on the phone.
Daddy was gone for the entire week last week to do some training for his job. Somehow, despite how sick she was, Hannah managed to figure out how to dial her Daddy's phone number. I couldn't believe it as I sat there and watched her scroll through the phone book until she landed on his name and then hit the call button. It was amazing! Although their entire conversation consisted of "hi" back and forth, Hannah seemed to enjoy hearing his voice on the other end.
She was so engrossed in her conversation and lounging on the couch, that I can only imagine what her teenage years will have in store for us!
